The cross
Sinaloa’s native landraces are tall, long-flowering sativas, so the indica in the name points somewhere else. Through the 1970s and 1980s, commercial growers in the region brought in fast-flowering Pakistani and Afghani seed and crossed it into those native plants — heavier, denser flower, harvested far sooner, for the illicit market north of the border. That is most likely the history this mother carries.
Whoop ASS! is an American Skunk cut, the bodhi one, crossed into Afkansastan and X18 Pakistani. He hands down pine and earthy gas to most of his progeny, along with old school funk and real color. If the Sinaloa side does carry that older Pakistani and Afghani influence, this cross runs it back to the same source — with fifty years of Mexican selection in between.
What to look for in Sinaloa Indica x Whoop ASS! seeds
- Vigor shows immediately in heirloom crosses. The strong starters usually stay strong.
- Resin on a heirloom base tends to arrive late. Hold judgment until week seven.
- Aroma will spread widely across the pack. Keep notes plant by plant from first flower.
- Color comes off the Whoop ASS! side and shows in the last few weeks.
