The cross
Headband is the sharp end of the West Coast fuel family — diesel, sour, and pressure behind the eyes. The cut we used was sourced from Crockett Family Farms and has held that character through every run we have given it.
El Buzzard is our male, out of Pine Tar Kush and Key Lime Pie crossed to PTKM4. He brings earth, pine tar, and a thread of citrus, and he tends to shorten and thicken what he crosses into. Putting him over a lanky diesel mother is the whole point of Headband x El Buzzard seeds: fuel on a frame that fills out.
What to look for in Headband x El Buzzard seeds
- Diesel intensity varies across the pack.
- Watch internode spacing. The plants that inherit El Buzzard structure are the ones worth a room.
- Resin ramps late on the El Buzzard side. Give the slower starters until week seven before deciding.
- Sour fuel over earthy pine is the target. Keepers carry both, not one.
