Genetics

Ghandaddy comes from Crickets and Cicadas, bred by crossing Granddaddy Purple with M-10. GDP brings the classic indica structure, deep purple tendencies, and the relaxing, euphoric effect profile the strain is famous for. M-10 adds its own character — contributing to the unique floral aroma and the uplifted, happy quality that sets Ghandaddy apart from a standard GDP expression.

Together, they produce a well-balanced indica that leans into comfort and good vibes rather than heavy sedation.

Aroma & Flavor

Ghandaddy has a distinct and memorable scent. The aroma is earthy and deeply floral — think fresh potpourri with a sweet, grape-forward base inherited from the GDP side. In addition, subtle herbal and woody notes round out the profile and give it a natural, garden-like quality.

Effects

Ghandaddy delivers a genuinely feel-good experience. First, a warm wave of happiness sets in — uplifting, social, and noticeably giggly. It is the kind of high that puts people at ease and keeps the mood light.

As the experience develops, a comfortable body relaxation follows. However, it stays functional and never tips into couch-lock. As a result, Ghandaddy works well for social settings, creative relaxation, or any time you want to unwind without checking out entirely.

Growing Information

Ghandaddy strain is a manageable, compact plant that suits a range of cultivation setups. She moves slowly through veg and stays squatty in flower — making her easy to fit into tight indoor canopies and mixed light environments. Consequently, she is a practical option for cultivators who need to manage vertical space.

Growing Tips

Veg Stage: Ghandaddy vegs slowly. Therefore, give her enough time to fill out before flipping. Topping early helps build a wider base and maximizes flowering sites given her compact structure.

Canopy Management: She stays squatty in flower, so she fits well in low-clearance spaces. As a result, LST works especially well here — spreading the canopy out rather than up gets the most out of her medium yield potential.

Late Flower: Watch for purple expression as temperatures drop in the final weeks. Furthermore, keep humidity in check — compact indica bud structures benefit from strong airflow to stay mold-free.

Curing: Finally, a slow cure is important for preserving Ghandaddy's delicate floral terpenes. Cure at 60–65°F for 10–14 days. The potpourri aroma deepens noticeably with a proper dry and cure.
