The cross
Doc’s OG brings pine, fuel and the tight OG structure that has carried the California market for two decades. Our cut came out of Mendocino County. The Doc’s OG name has been used for several different OG selections over the years, so we credit ours by where it came from rather than by a lineage we cannot verify.
Wedding Cake is the Seed Junky cross of Triangle Kush and Animal Mints — sweet vanilla and cake batter over earthy spice and gas, with heavy yield and sturdy lateral branching. She builds dense and tight, which is both the appeal and the thing to manage.
Gas over cake is a pairing the market keeps rewarding. It produces plants that read as premium without needing a novelty terpene to sell them.
What to look for in Doc’s OG x Wedding Cake seeds
- Wedding Cake density brings mold risk. Pick candidates that stay dense without going solid.
- The best expressions carry OG fuel on the nose and cake on the exhale. Plants that pick one side are the discards.
- Trichome coverage should be visible by week five. Late frost usually stays behind.
- Expect tight internodal spacing from the Wedding Cake side, which suits indoor rooms.
