The cross
OG over Glue is one of the most reliable pairings in the book. The OG side carries the pine, fuel and lemon-pledge character that still defines the California palate, along with the structure that trims well and holds its shape.
Our Doc’s OG cut came out of Mendocino County. Worth saying plainly: the Doc’s OG name has been applied to several different OG selections over the years, so we credit ours by where it came from rather than by a lineage we cannot verify.
Gorilla Glue #4 answers with sheer resin volume. She is a stretchy plant with gooey trichomes that start stacking early, and cooler temperatures late in flower push that further. The combination targets a commercial OG that produces like a Glue cross.
What to look for in Doc’s OG x GG4 seeds
- Resin coverage from the GG4 side is the yield argument. Weigh a wash before deciding.
- Classic OG fuel and pine should be unmistakable. Faded expression means the OG side lost.
- GG4 brings stretch. Get a trellis in and keep the canopy even.
- Drop night temperatures in the last two weeks and watch which plants answer with more frost.
