The cross
Lemon Cherry Gelato is the 2019 Oakland cut — cherry sugar, sweet cream, and the color that made it a shelf favorite. Gorilla Glue #4 is the other half, and it is there for backbone: structure, trichome density, and production.
We made Bossa Nova seeds to push cherry-gelato sweetness into a heavier framework. Plenty of dessert crosses are all candy and no weight. This one is meant to carry the terps and still fill a jar.
What to look for in Bossa Nova seeds
Three expressions come up most often across the hunt:
- Cherry gelato gas. Sweet cherry sugar up front, creamy gelato through the middle, fuel on the back end.
- GG4-dominant resin. Heavier gas and glue notes, extreme frost. The one to keep if you wash.
- Balanced keeper. Dense flower, loud nose, strong bag appeal, solid all around.
Stretch is moderate and responds to topping and early canopy control. Flower comes in dense, so keep airflow ahead of it late.
